Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Lagna Clarity collects, why, and your rights. It is written in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. The data fiduciary is Lagna Clarity, a proprietorship of Varish Sharma, Kolkata, West Bengal, India.

What we collect

Order and contact details: name, email address, WhatsApp number.
Birth details: date, time and place of birth, gender where needed for marriage matching, and any question you ask us. For a Marriage Match Report, this includes the second person's details.
Payment records: order amount, date and payment reference from Razorpay or your UPI app. We never receive or store card details, UPI PINs or bank logins.
Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp or by email about your order.
Sign-ups: if you ask for a discount code or join our list, your name, email, WhatsApp number (optional), the page you came from and, on the Free Kundli page, your Moon sign, birth star and Ascendant (not your birth date, time or place).
Creator applications: what you send us on our Creators page (name, handles, audience size, rates, contact details).
Website data: pages visited and how you reached us, collected with cookies by our customer records system (HubSpot) and, if enabled, by our advertising partner Meta (Facebook/Instagram) through the Meta Pixel, to understand our audience and measure our ads. It is linked to you only if you give us your email. You can block or delete cookies in your browser.

Details you enter on the order form are saved when you proceed to payment, so that we can complete your order, or remind you once if the payment wasn't completed.

Why we use it

To prepare and deliver your report or consultation.
To send your invoice and contact you about your order, by email or WhatsApp.
To meet legal duties such as GST record-keeping.
To improve our reports, for example from feedback you choose to give us.
If you signed up for it: to email you (and WhatsApp you, if you gave your number) about reports and offers, at most 2 messages a week. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or reply "STOP".

We use your birth details only for your report. We do not sell your data, and we send marketing only to people who have ticked the box to receive it.

Who we share it with

Razorpay, to process payments.
Service providers who help us run the business under confidentiality: website hosting and database (Cloudflare), our customer records system (HubSpot), email and file storage, workflow automation, and the AI service used to help write reports. We share your birth details and chart data with them only as far as needed to prepare and deliver your report.
Our astrologer, for consultation orders.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records, including invoices, for as long as tax law requires. We keep birth details and reports for up to 3 years so we can answer follow-up questions and re-send reports, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent for future use, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. Write to support@lagnaclarity.com. We reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

We don't knowingly accept orders from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian may order for a child and gives consent on the child's behalf.

Security

We store data with reputable providers, limit access to people who need it, and never ask for passwords or payment PINs.
